Systems Change Consulting

Complicated and complex
problems are our jam.

Generally speaking, we enjoy working collaboratively to dismantle oppressive structures that disproportionately prevent historically marginalized people from succeeding.

Sara works with leaders and people closest to the problems and within systems to change them. Strategic thinking, good planning, being comfortable in the discomfort, and not always knowing the path forward means the work can be amazing and gratifying and messy and difficult.

Embarking on this journey of systemic change is both demanding and deeply fulfilling. It requires a blend of strategic thinking and adaptability, where navigating uncertainty and complexity becomes a transformative experience. This path, though often challenging, leads to meaningful and impactful change, making the hard work not just necessary but deeply rewarding for everyone involved.

As a white feminist engaged in anti-oppression work, Sara continuously works to acknowledge her privileges and biases, viewing each project as an opportunity for learning and unlearning—for her and the folks she works with.

“Sara has this exceptional ability to dig down, ask hard questions, and hold everyone accountable. She won't let anyone throw something out and leave it unresolved. All things are considered, then taken to the next step of deciding whether to move forward with an idea (or not), where it fits, etc. Everyone is involved.”
